Sogyal Rinpoche has kindly agreed to give a public talk once again to the community members in NY and NJ this june. The event is hosted by VajraTV, more updates will follow soon.

July, 2012: Tibetan Elderly Picnic at the Center for Wisdom and Compassion
VajraTV and the Center for Wisdom and Compassion organized the first Tibetan Elders Picnic of New York at the Center's land in Berne, New York. The 3 days fun filled picnic for the elder members of community was a great success.

June, 2012: Sogyal Rinpoche's public talk to the Tibetan and Himalayan Community of New York and New Jersey
VajraTV organized the free and open-to-all public talk in Queens, New York. The talk was attended by over 300 community members and appeared in various news reports including Voice of America.

May, 2012: Vajrasattva Sand Mandala for World Peace VajraTV co-organized this event with the Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art, Staten Island. Three monks created the amazing Sand Mandala in dedication and prayer for world peace.

Public Talk by Tsoknyi Rinpoche VajraTV organized this free and open-to-all public talk at the Rigpa New York Center. The talk was one of a kind and much appreciated by audience.

Nyima Wangmo Medical Fund VajraTV helped raise funds for 8yrs old Tibetan girl suffering from blood cancer in Nepal.

Meals for the homeless women VajraTV collaborated with Tibetan Volunteers for Animals, New York (TVANY) who organized, sponsored and prepared dinner for more than 50 homeless women in Washington DC today on the occasion of the Birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. After the meal, toothbrushes, towels etc were also offered to all the women.
